ISO 50001:2018 is one of the fastest growing ISO standards. So, how does ISO 50001 Energy differ from ISO 14001 Environmental?  Well,  ISO 50001, specifically focuses on an organisation’s ability to manage their energy sources and energy use, whereas ISO 14001, focuses on the environmental media the organisation can affect.  ISO 14001 includes energy topics, but does not prescribe detailed specifications for an energy management system.  The main benefits of ISO 50001:2011 are;
